Nxtyrsfulltilts - Filed PP Claim 3 months after purchase/despite confirming acceptance of package

So woke up this morning with -$ in my PayPal



nxtyrsfulltilts filing a claim that he didn't authorize the purchase he made 3 months ago, yet he managed to confirm that he received the package 3 months ago and the name he asked to ship to matches the one the claim is attached to...

I obviously flipped out and sent him a pissed pm, but he's still ignoring me despite being active on here... Buyers beware!

Which MODS are still pretty active on here that I could forward this to, so they ban his IP or at least monitor it so he doesn't make new accounts to fuck more people over.

I sent out entire convo screen caps to PP, along with all the shipping info + tracking numbers. The fact he put his user name in the buyer notes is probably the stupidest things I've seen... if you're trying to rip someone off. Clearly not his first rodeo in doing this as the cap for filing claims like these is basically 90 days, and he waited till just about then to do it.

Yeah it has been. Not saying I have his address but its definetly not easy to find all of his social media and address. But dont post it in here for obviously obvious reasons.

I don't think he has a side thats worth speaking, since I dropped him a message at 9am EST and he's been active since then and ignored my messages to him with links to my call out thread... if he had something to say, he had ample time to make it heard

I get that, and I know selling anything online there is always a risk with the buyer pulling some slick shit like this or having their package diverted to another address etc... I'm not really upset about the money it's just the fact or trying to prevent this shit from happening to another member, we're suppose to behave respectfully and I like to think of NS as a family. I wouldn't want any of my other Fam to be dicked over by him again in the future.

I get banning him is asking for a lot, I'm sure the mods have bigger matters to worry about especially considering it's grown a lot from back in the day when this place was wild and myspace was all the rage... but if they could just keep him on their radar as a person of interest for shenaniganz I'd think that's reasonable request.

Unfortunately, banning them won't do anything, people who want to scam people can pass an IP block with a simple proxy. As stated in the website rules, we are not responsible for any transactions and you should take up your issue with local authorities if you actually want justice.

I hear you, and I realize my initial demand/hopes were powered by rage rather than logic - agree it's worth keeping his account active so he can live with that shit rep.... I've taken the steps in collecting info on him to determine he's a minor so I'll be reaching out to his parents if I can't get a hold of him soon.

So correct me if I'm wrong but cant you get banned for item flipping? Wouldnt that be moderation in bst?

I dont really care, I'm just wondering if that rule no longer exists.

That used to be a huge problem when we created the rules, not necessarily anymore.
 
Email'ed thenxtyrsfulltilts via the architecture firm thats listed under the address (Jeffery D.) I assume is his dad but kept it losely labeled didn't want to step on any feeling in today's world of labelling.... anyways I've gotten no response. I collected images from his instagram and between google maps/bing maps I've confirmed from image analyzes that Sam aka nxtyrsfulltilts does indeed live in that house so I assume 'Sam D.' is his real name it's just he's a minor so it makes it difficult grabbing info on it, although for his dad there's tons of stuff.... So I'll be calling and recording calls from the #'s I've found until I find Sam or evidently Jeffery since he lists the address I shipped to as his firm's contact address.

TL;DR - I haven't heard from nxtyrsfulltilts at all - I found his dad's company address listed as his address... so imma make calls
 
I just got off the phone with his father.... who noted the payment SAM made was via his mom's paypal account - even though is has his email.... So maybe her CC? An his father intends to mail the goggles back - but he's had them for 3 months and I'm suppose to expect they're not in worse shape then when I sent them? Told his dad my contact info, and explained that I expect a tracking #.... I mean it's better than nothing but it's still lame AF since the dad couldn't describe what the goggles were nor did he fess up any wrong doing just that he want me to stop emailing his business email and SAM will be dealt with. Hope he's grounded till next summer so no skiing for a year
 
I could easily see his pops not fessing up to any wrong doing. It's his kid so no matter what he's got to kind of play protector. Sure he's glad you're not emailing his work anymore. Hope his parents are disciplinarian and actually do something to teach not pull shit like this. Parents are weak nowadays.

I know all parents (at least the ones who care for their kids) will do w/e needed to defend their child. However his dad was rather snobby though like in a pretentious sense explaining I was wasting his time by making this issue bigger than it was... there wasn't a need to contact him... An kept stating that I need to stop arguing - I was simply layout out the info as to why the issue arose.

I wanted him confirmed all sides of the story and to provide me description of the goggles (there were 2). He referred to them as one pair, I told him there were two and I explained I wanted confirmation of the goggles condition via pictures he said that's non needed because they're in the same condition as he got them. An he'll mail them out today... I told him I want a tracking # which he noted isn't needed as I have his word, I pressed on and he said he'd consider it.

But like wtf your Son is ignoring me and I'm dealing with PP, so like I'm just suppose to assume you'll mail them back despite never giving him my address (unless he kept the box for 3 months). An you keep talking about it like it's one pair but it's fucking two pairs.

Why not just tell him to force the son to cancel the claim? Why mail it back? The transactions already done, there isn't a "3 month money back refund" type of deal.. The dad's being a bit petty here, could have just allowed the payment to go through and take the L on the $60

I explained this to him, and how it's only 65 bucks but he was playing this snobby tone of 'well we didn't give sam permission for this so we're going to return it end of discussion no point arguing this anymore - you're (me) making this into a bigger deal then it needs to be' which I agree with you... they live a 15k square foot victorian house in city of Pittsburgh (not suburb), he's a successful architect... he can clearly afford the $65.

Yeah it sounds like he's just trying to teach his kid a lesson, but is actually doing the wrong thing. What he should do is pay you and take the goggle from the kid, but pretty hard to tell someone how to be a parent.

Exactly my point - I think he's going that route due to my associate's email sounding all legal n official (with spelling errors n shit) - hence a money order they can track an confirm that I've cashed then use that against me if I go forth with the paypal claim...

On a more postitive note shoutout to zmarc88 for being super easy to deal with and doing friends/fam payment so nothing of this manner can happen... I'm slow at times to reply, but I've never taken anyone for a ride like nxtyrsfulltilts is doing with me... shit even when I was like 14 trading bmx parts across the country, I'd never been fucked over as much as this ass clown from pittsburgh. I mean shit I could drive the 5 hours to his house but I doubt his dad would be anymore pleasurable to talk to face to face than he is over the phone.

pretty much that Sam sent me a bogus tracking # even though his daddy told him not to talk to me, he said I'll have my money today or tomorrow and gave me a image of m/o receipt, but I can't track it from just that and my mail already came today so like I guess tomorrow...??

Until I cash a m/o I plan on pursuing this with PP
