NS, what do you think of my potential tattoo idea?

I'm planning to get two feathers, like the ones in the picture below, across my left shoulder/upper arm.

I'm also going to get the words "las cosas hermosas siempre vienen de lejos" (translated : the beautiful things always come from afar) in script writing down my right shoulder/upper arm.

what do you think? and before you question the meaning, yes both are special to me in some way so no worries there.

I really like the feather idea. Not so sure about the writing but If it means a lot go for it!

oh no i know, i'm just asking from a strictly visual standpoint. nobody is gonna tell me it's stupid because it's not stupid to me, it's meaningful. i was more so looking for people to tell me if they think visually it'd work out well.

You should have to layout of the writing match the layout of the feathers. Or would that look dumb?

I have yet to meet a person who has hated/not gotten my 'kill hippies' tattoo. because the hatred of hippies is universal.

it's a quote from a famous spanish play, La Dama del Alba (Lady of the Dawn), by Alejandro Casona.

not only does it serve as a reminder of my childhood, but it's also one line in the play that stuck out to me greatly. i blew through the play two years ago in spanish class and dont remember any word for word, but that line has stuck with me. maybe it's because it seemed to be completely random in context, or maybe it's because it's such an interesting though. not quite sure, but it has been a recurring theme in my life and one that i now embrace and value.

it is also said by the grandfather in the play, about a woman who is the physical personification of Death. at the time he said it he did not know that the woman was actually Death in disguise, and the entire family in the play is initially distracted by how beautiful the woman that Death uses as a disguise looks....

take that however you want to but I know what I think about it and it's very relevant in my life.

If you want them and know that you won't be like "Why did I have to get this stupid thing" a week after, then go for it. Just make sure they're tattoos you can hide, so they don't impair your ability to get a job.
