good call on go pro, I was gonna buy Groupon a couple days ago but didn't clearly i should have. I get up when the market is already halfway through the day so i pretty much do all my trading after hours and have to wait till the next day damn west coast.

Earnings man. Gotta play the earnings. Just look at aftermarket announcments, buy the companies you think will be strong before the close, sell when you get up. If you did that with GoPro, Groupon, Linkedin, or Expedia(I think) they were all up +10%.

Ya I've been trying to keep up on them but been busy. still did ok up almost 4% today first time doing this so I'm pretty pleased overall with where I'm at. Im going to take the Canadian Securities Course (cdc) to learn this more in-depth and pad the resume.

You can also do the same thing for the following day, just search Before instead of After.

Sooo... I won the first one?? Since today was the final trading day and I was the top. (Not counting the dude who glitched AAPL to 7 mil)

Congrats dude! I came a decently close second. This was fun guys, gave me something to do while being bored at work. Not planning to go into finance but it's always good to know what's going on in other industries.
 
Okay so I've almost made back all my losses from early in the game... hopefully I can keep this up through the rest of the year
