this idea is courtesy of Pippin.
maybe like one day we could go back to the layout from 2004 or something for the day. so all of us newer members could see what the site was like back then. anyone else agree that this is a good idea? but idk if it would work i mean, would it require a lot of time from the admins to change layouts?
 
i also thought that the veteran members would like it because it would bring back some memories..?
idk just an idea tell me what you think.

It would be extraordinarily difficult to change a website with thousands of pages to an older, more restrictive format for a day. Just think of all the layouts for ad banners that would need to be changed.

Hah.... yeah man I'm afraid it isn't nearly as easy as it sounds.

We don't even have all the old code backed up, so we'd have to re-code the entire site end-to-end to look like the old one... then trash it.

It'd be like 6 months of hard work so sadly probably not really something we can do. Screen captures will have to suffice!
 
My idea wasn't to realistic eh, but i think it would be neat to see like the background change to that funky old one, i am sure that would be more doable

man if you go that that link, you can see the website from different dates. It was so different even in February of 07 when I signed up, even a year ago it was different.
