i took a sample of some of the politicaly interested folks on here, and kind of eyeballed where they would fall on the political compass that weve seen around. i took all the scores from the first political compass thread in the nsg. i had 20 written down, but i was quickly running out of space...

Anyways, I think I was in a revolutionary mood when i took it the first time, because I took it again and scored -3.89, -2.75 (If I remember correctly... I posted it in another thread). Riiiiiiight... ok, facist dog. Interesting. You know, I think the thing putting some people further left than they'd expect is the last page... it's hard not to answer the sexual freedom questions at least somewhat liberally. I noticed pg 5 was polarizing me a bit too, just via what questions were posed... If it was just pages 1-4, I'd be pretty central.

I think they really weighted that page 5 against your politcal score more than the questiones on earlier pages. They seemed to have more to do with controlling people's habits and lifestyle than any other of the questions...

I just took the test again and I was pretty much the same libertarian wise. But I was way more to the left. So no real vertical movement. But horizontaly i moved a couple points.

^the test is pretty accurate(for the most part), so maybe the problem is that there's a disconnect between what you believe you are, and what you actually are. Conditioning also plays a part here, but I'll let you come to your own conclusions in regards to that.

my coordinates are ( 1 , 1.33 ). Pretty neutral, I would have thought more right than that, but I guess this does seem pretty accurate. Not great, but pretty good.
