NS Outage - June 14th 2005

Hey guys,

As some of you may have noticed NS was down early this morning for 8 hours or so. We had some random database crash, we aren't sure yet what caused it.

No data was lost and everything is once again working well.

i thought there was some kind of apocoplypse going on... NS got really weird in the wee morning hours... the 'last reply' thing was all out of whack and stuff. then it went down. and later i turned on my tv and all the times on that were messed up and stuff too. so i gave up on technology and for some reason my alarm clock is at the wrong time now and keeps going off randomly.

i thought there was something wrong with the computers at school when i couldnt get on so i went from computer to computer and it just wouldnt work so i got sad

Yah it happened in the evening of the 14th too. I was mkaing some changes to the firewall on the server.
