Idk about you guys but it’s wack to me that the clips that won the NS open were recycled shit that we have all been seeing on countless instagram accounts for months.. it’d be cool if they required athletes to submit clips they haven’t posted on IG… also, Jackson K (no disrespect) did like 3 variations of a rly similar pretz on the same feature… in a 5 clip edit Nobody wants to see the same feature 3 times…
 
Carstarter is a crazy talented skier but his super spin shit is the most boring thing to watch ever. All his posts look the same and his NS open was just his last three ig posts
 
Yeah idk about jackson winning, but at least it was a good skier that won. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a big fan of his style but he did influence the whole “play rails like shredsauce” thing.

Yeah fr, he was doing the same tricks at the steelcity showdown qualis today. Way better skier than I’ll ever be but man does he love doing fs to mega spins out

the rules as stated

"Videos must: be truthful, contain all original content (nothing copied from others), be self-produced, be unpublished (this includes on social media platforms, personal or otherwise, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), have not been used in another competition, be in compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, not infringe on third party rights, and not infringe on any copyright or trademark."
 
Nah Jackson should’ve won with those clips let’s be real, if some no name submitted the same clips y’all wouldn’t be saying shit lol. And to be fair, just because he has a following doesn’t mean he shouldn’t have entered, it’s literally for athletes NOT in FIS, X games, World Cup, and whatever those other comp jock circuits are. It was for terrain park warlords and unfortunately for everyone, Jackson can spin faster than y’all, and is technical as hell. If they allowed video entries instead of 5 clips, I’m sure we would have some steeze warlords winning but it’s really hard to stand out with style alone in a 5 trick submission format.

Y’all should be way more mad at the fact that a fucking Olympian won a contest for non olympians, not Jackson lol.
