So imagine if you could just hashtag a video, picture, or thread basically just like Instagram

so if I saw #steezylandings I could click on it and scroll through stuff like this (but ns based obviously)

also if you could tag people (BAD: since NS is a pretty small community and if you are on here long enough you can see almost everything so this could get annoying) This was inspired by the alerts notifications

also imagine if athletes looking to get sponsored could have a sponsor me tab on there profile page (like one of the my threads, videos, feedback area) where they could link and add articles, pictures, videos, big tricks, or comp results that they are proud of. This would make this process easier if the company saw something you posted that they like and wanted to head hunt you they wouldn't have to search all over first NS, then Vimeo, then freeskier for all your stuff they could just look at this one page and see your progression, tricks, and popularity. Also If you wanted to reach out to a company you could email them that link and see all your stuff (kinda like an artist portfolio).

also since Im throwing ideas out there should be more contests like a monthly 1 trick heater contest or something idk

Im just tossing ideas out feel free to shut me down or comment some changes to these ideas

The sponsor me part of a profile was in the plans for a long time, though over the years its proven more difficult than anticipated to come up with something that is actually good. We're still brainstorming on this one, and its lower on the priority list, so likely its not happening any time soon.

Now your contest idea - fuck yes. We built the contest system to do just what you're talking about, though we went through a bit of a slow spot because we have to make sure our contests are 100% legal. As such, it got a bit harder to run them.

However, we've got a few of 'em lined up this season and working on getting more. Definitely doing loads of these is a fantastic idea.
