so i pretty much fucked myself today... heres the story
so today i had this history project due, i had a really long weekend (funeral and other shit) and i didn't get a chance to finish it. So i decided to go home sick after my first 2 classes (history was 3rd.) So i walk in to history and ask if i can go home sick. My teacher says ok, so i called my dad and went downstairs to the library to wait (5 minute wait).
after about 4 minutes my history teacher comes down and asks why i'm not waiting in his class and if i have the project. like a dumbass i say
Me: "woops, sorry, i just wanted to wait down here so i could see my dad pull up. and my project is over in my locker."
him: "that doesn't sound likely, i think you should go get it and bring it to me before you leave."
Me: "ok"
im like, wow im fucked. so when my dad pulls up we just drive away.
im an idiot.
so ill turn it in tomorrow but my teacher will probably end up calling my house tonight or talking to me about it tomorrow.
so heres where you come in.I need something to say, b/c saying "i forgot" is not gunna work. please help me.

Man up, say you didn't do it, and take the penalty.
It's not going to ruin your life if you don't hand in a project. Highschool is a joke anyways.
Just don't fuck up next time.
 
just say your dad was ina hurry to get some where and something like that. Also make your dad say that he was in a hurry
 
thats probably what ill end up doing, but if i had something to say that would be good
 
if you had a funeral to go to over the weekend, the might be a legit excuse to not have it done right on time because you lost time. Most teachers would accept that and give you at least an extra day. Tell her you did most of it but then you got caught up in the funeral etc and were unable to finish.
 
if he's a chill teacher then just tell him the truth... that you had a funeral and a really busy weekend or you could just say that you were about to go get the project when your dad pulled up and said he was in a rush because he had to get back to work
 
Just make up that you thought you had it in your locker but then once you went to check you realized you actually didnt have it. PM me if you need more ideas
 
I'd go with this. I haven't seen an excuse yet that will work if your teacher has half a brain, he probably already knows you were lying. You screwed yourself over already, if I were you I would admit it and cut my losses.

But if you really want to stick with it go for it...I'm not your mom.

 
yeah seriously it's not a big deal. just say you were in a hurry and stick with it. if the teacher doesn't buy it just ride it out and forget about it
 
for starters dude just relax, tell him what you've been through, just dont be an ass. he might understand, he might be a dick, just roll with it, its not like 1 late is going to fuck you up.
 
ill probly end up telling him the truth, but im not worried cuz its late. im worried because he knows i pretty blatantly lied to his face then blew him off
 
say ur dad was in a hurry. and tell your teacher to fuck off cuz you were at a fureral. say u were pre-occuied with that and you needed a bit more time..... if thats not an option tell the truth i gueess
