I am almost finished paying off my new skis, the 2011 Armada JJ's. It's my first pow/backcountry ski and and I need some help with the bindings. I am putting on the Griffins and I am not sure if i should have them center mounted or factory recommended. I am an avid park skier and plan on taking my skills to the pow, and doing butters, cliffs, some swtich, and probably do some kickers (if there is enough snow). I dont know if it makes a difference for pow skis. I have my park skis a little below center mount but is there a difference for ski? Any advice would be awesome, oh and they are 185cm if that helps. Thanks!

i would say for park you should go center mounted and pow go a little back but not to dramatic

moving the bindings back should help you keep those tips out of the snow when landing and carving

I would mount them a couple cm back of true center, like between two and three. You'll still be able to ride switch but will get more float in the pow, and you'll have more stability :)
