NS i need your help

So i've seen a few of these and i always try to help but this time its me who needs it.
I have a paper due on Monday for my philosophy class. It concerns finding a story that relates to the allegory of the cave by plato.
Problem is i cant think of any stories with these steps:
Inside the caveRelease from the caveReturn to the cave
People used people believing in Santa Clause but i don't want to copy that. I'm really hoping someone here has read it before.PLEASE NS HELP ME!

If it doesn't have to be a modern story, then you could go with either Beowulf, using Grendel, or the story "Grendel" itself. Where Grendel has spent it's life in a cave with it's mother and is released to reek havoc. But once mortally wounded returns to the cave and dies.

It's been a while since I've read either of those, so I may be wrong, but hope it helped.
