I have been trying to figure this out all day. I am 175lbs 6ft and i am deciding between the FT booters, FT high fives, and the Dalbello kryptons. i ski all around but serious park..and pow when we have it. will the booter be too soft?
sorry, this is a stupid thread but i figure some of you know better than i do
thanks peace

i ski the booter for all mountain cruising and park (this is my first year of it) and im only 110 pounds, so booter is out of the question for you. too soft

it's not really out of the question, I'm 155lbs and I have booters and they are perfect stiffness, also depending on the price he gets it might be cheaper to get the booter and a stiffer (#6 would be best) tongue. If you can afford it you may want to get the Hot Doggers, probably the best boot they make for park with some cruising on the side, the #6 flex is soft enough that you wont get shin bang and can still move around easily but stiff enough that you wont fall over on bigger jumps, the active boot board absorbs impact to make landings smooth as butter, and the Pro Liner is exactly that - PRO! so warm and comfortable and with the heat molding you'll have your very own custom boot feeling.
This ALL assuming you've tried on the boots and KNOW they fit...if not, try them on first before buying. I usually set out an entire day to try on and pick a boot cause I try on several different style and brands before picking one (I don't have a bootfitter near me - that would make life easier). I finally found that Full Tilt fits me perfectly and now I don't have to spend as much time searching for new boots. Hope that helps.

try on both dahlbello and fult tilt and see what fits best.

i realy wanted full tilt konflicts when i tryed them on they were to narrow and hurt my 6th toe.

i tryed krypton pro and they fit my foot perfect, had them 3 seasons now and they are goin strong.

heaps of custom options to get the flex exactly how you want em. 100 to 140 flex

try boots on and get what suits your foot.

this years booter is a 4. last year it was a 2. if you got full tilt id say get like an 8. you a big boy ha ah

I dont think 175 for a 6 foot tall dude is being big.

but yea I wouldnt go lower then the 6 tongue featured on the high five.

I rode these for a while (the 6 flex tongue) being 155 and tought they were a tad too soft comming from customised race boots. but I never bottomed them or any trouble.

End of story: go witrh the medium (high five hotdogger) or the firm flex(konflict).
