NS HW Help-Romeo and Juliet

I have to write an essay on Romeo and Juliet on how time is a major factor in the play. So far I have:
-Romeo and Juliet are "star-crossed" so the time that they were born controls their fate.
-Juliet tells Romeo to not swear by the moon because it is inconsistent and changes quickly, foreshadowing that Romeo and Juliet's love will not last long.
-Romeo misses Juliet's awakening by minutes, showing that a few minutes of time can change the outcome of a story.
-Romeo says that time seems to pass slowly when he thinks about Rosaline, who he cannot be with. Time moves quickly when Romeo is with Juliet, showing that human perception alters the way time is used.
-Romeo is forced to leave Juliet for Mantua because it is day, when Juliet tries to convince him it is still night. After Romeo tells Juliet that he will be killed if he stays during the day, Juliet changes her mind because she does not want Romeo to die. The effects of time on characters affects the way other characters act.

Are there any more significant events having to do with time that I missed?

I hated writing the Romeo and Juliet essay. Have you already googled what your looking for? That seemed to help me out a lot when i was working on it.

they did durgs, hooked up all the time. She prettended to kill herself, he thought she was dead, he killed himself, she woke up saw him dead, and killled herself

the end

- the time of day has a large effect on the play. think pathetic fallacy.

- expanding on the rosaline point and juliet point- write about WHY the time moves quickly and slowly with each of them. quickly with juliet because he only has a short time with her, his true love, so time goes fast. slowly with rosaline because he can't have her, but wants her. romeo doesnt LOVE rosaline, he LUSTS for her. this is an important distinction to make.

- the obvious and most crucial point is the waking scene. this is probably the only scene you can really build your argument off of, so make sure you cover all aspects of it

you can write about how the play that Shakespeare stole romeo and juliet actually took place over a couple months and that it was just shakespeare's style to make all his plays super short time spans.
