NS HELP ME PICK OUT MY NEW SKIS

Okay well guys my park days are behind me. I currently have 170 T-Halls which are shot at this pt. I am more and more interested in Big Mountain skiing after taking a few trips out West. The catch is I live on the East... So I am looking for a ski that will kill it out West but still hold up here on the East. I ski Killington mainly with 1 or 2 trips out West a season. I have been looking and reading and what not but I trust NSers and their insight. I am 5' 11" and about 200lbs. I am looking to get something between 180-185, I have been looking at the Armada JJ's & Magic J both perhaps too West Coasty for my situation. The dude at my shop was pushing the Nordica Patrons on me pretty hard so I am seriously considering those as well. I do big lines, steeps, trees and some jumps. any suggestionsssss, commentsss? -KBS

Wtf? Either I'm high and didn't realized what forum I was in or a mod must have moved this thread. If it's the first, sorry for sounding like an asshole.

I'd go for some between 100 and 110 underfoot, with a bit of camber too. That should suit your needs fine. By the sounds of it a directional ski will be alll you need, a couple of skis worth looking at might be ON3P Vicicks, K2 Annex 108, Moment Belafonte, Down Countdown 6, Praxis Freeride.

Neither JJ's or magic J's are man ski's. They will feel like bitch ski's under a man of your weight.

patron is pretty dope. I have never met anyone who had anything bad to say about it. I would look at the ON3P suggestions as well.

Man I gotta tell you Nordica really knows how to do it right. It didnt take me long to figure out that Nordica made a very high quality ski. Go for the Patron for sure. Even the guys who ride for nordica are really nice, they are well spoken and know how to rip for sure. In my opinion Nordica makes the best ski money can by and you should definitely get or at least really consider the Patron

I'm in a very similar situation and I almost bought patrons this year...I ended up getting icelantic rkr's instead only because I wanted something made in USA. Can't wait to ride them, but patrons were my close #2
