Ns callout

it was decided to ask suspected NSers if they knew how to get to chad's gap, but that raised some controversy with threats against persons that use said callout

hey do you know how to get to chad gap from the bottom of alta?

it was "how do you get to chads from the bottom of alta?" followed by a response about blowing it up or some shit. but nobody knows it and if you ask you usually end up looking like an idiot.
 
yeah for real. i usually just say newschoolers and people are like oh yeah i go on there from time to time. and i'm like would you have known what i'm talking about if i asked about chads gap and they're like lolwut?
 
This is funny because a couple weeks ago a kid from my mountain asked if I knew how to get to Chad's from the bottom of Alta and I was like. I get it. Then responded appropriatly. (Fuck I don't know how to spell appropriatly.)
 
I swear to god I have come across at least 7+ kids with ns stickers on their helmets who don't know the chads gap call out and it is awkward as fuck when they just stand there all confused and look at you.
 
thats the logic I go by. and i still get kids that are like lolwut? although it's probably not a coincidence that they're like 14.
 
i never generally want to approach an nser in real life, for some slightly obvious reasons, but i'm always curious about what person's username is.
 
This, I did it to some kid up at whiteface one day. He was decked out in all saga and had NS stickers plastered all over his helmet and skis. I figured finally a safe bet! And I called him out...he looked at me like I had 5 heads. And then I was like "uhhhh you go on newschoolers?" And he asked me what it was. I have no idea, but he was a dick about it and made me feel really stupid haha.
 
Asked some kid the other day how to get to chads from the bottom of alta and he goes "oh yeah man. just head right down this trail here, head left all the way to australia and take a right onto f you."
 
I just go up and be like "what's your Newschoolers name?" and usually they get stoked. There's quite a few people that are on NS that ride my mountain
