NS buffertimes are still godawful.

I understand you guys dont have access to the servers of youtube or vimeo, but its honestly ridiculous. buffertimes on youtube or vimeo are 5-15 seconds, and then it plays straight through. on ns its 5-15 seconds, to watcha quarter of the video, the pause repeatedly while i wait for the rest of the video to finish loading. anything yall can do about that?

why does it work for vimeo and youtube though, but not ns? im fairly sure its on ns's end.

I dunno. For me, Vimeo is actually on the slower end and YouTube varies. For me NS is fairly consistent and relatively fast to load.

yeah NS is fairly fast for me

well, i guess it varies but its usually not really slow, my vimeo and youtube are definitely way faster though

The route your computer takes to get to the NS servers vs. Vimeo or YouTube are different. If one link in the chain is slow, then your connection is slow. Vimeo and YouTube attempt to get around this by having multiple server locations throughout the country. NS is located in Texas.

Makes sense. NS is pretty slow for me too. NS is in California though, I'm in California too and it's pretty slow for me, I don't know if it has anything to do with how close or far you are from the severs, but I am only four hours from the servers.

I get this but not just with videos. I get it with everything and it's random. Most often when trying to quote someone. It'll either quote them instantly or I'll have to reload the page like 5 times and wait like 30 seconds before I can type anything in reply.
