NS blocking certain VPNs

I guess since the spamming there are certain VPN ips that are blocked from accessing NS. (just get the 404 page if accessing NS while using a VPN). Could this be taken off for members that have had accounts for over a certain time?

It's quite of annoying since my ISP throttles torrent and some other protocols to shit (30 kb/s max) even if what you're doing is 100% legal. So the way to get around this and have somewhat usable internet is to use a VPN (doubles the speed to 60 kb/s. yes, I live within the city limits of the capital city of one of the most developed nations in the world and this is actually the best internet I can get. I've had better internet in 3rd world countries).

So I can't access NS if I want to use a VPN. Although I'm going to switch VPN's soon, so maybe that will make a difference if there's one without a static IP (dunno if that's possible). If it's too much of a hassle that's fine, I don't download much since the internet is so bogus so it's not a big deal.

We had to get extremely aggressive with how serious this last spam assault was on us. So for right now, it looks like your VPN IP was associated with known spammers across the internet - and as such we needed to stop it in its tracks.

We might be able to loosen restrictions in the future, but for right now they're still attacking us (and getting denied) so we can't let up. I'm really sorry man.

However, you might have this problem elsewhere if your VPN is associated with spammers.

We'll do our best to see if we can find a resoultion.
