i spent 2 hours today calling around 200 people about only 40 picked up and only 3 donated to the school district that was putting it on. wow one carrer i would never do even if the pay was amazing.
 
i had to do it for a day once in my old job. it was awful and almost makes you respect what they do. Then you realize wait, telemarketers still suck.
 
i always tell them that the "head of the household" died 2 weeks ago and then start crying and hang up...
 
i thought it said now i know what its like to be a telemarker, and i had to read what you wrote about 5 times before i realized i had misread the title
