Notifications

I was thinking, and a good addition to newschoolers would be lessons possibly learned from facebook. in pictures and videos, you could have the option of "tagging" other newschoolers members by their sn, creating a link to their profile, as well as listing their names.

Another thing is the notification system. Whenever someone posts on one of your videos/pictures, responds to your thread, etc, you could be notified near the message/online friends area. That too would be tight.

Just suggestions.

Like an option to get notifications when someone quotes you in threads...Option to get a notification when someone comments on your blog/media/resources/etc.

You can subscribe/unsubscribe to a thread.

It would be a good substitute for "My Threads", which I can't even load now because it's so motherf***ing long.

Right, he has an account, so why would he want his NS account to BE THE SAME THING? I get where he's coming from in not adding most features that these sites have. It's just not NS style.

I agree with Ryno. Options are good. I like the idea of notifications on quoting and created thread. I don't like the idea of tagging NSers. Kinda silly to me.

yea i dont want my NS acting like a facebook, im happy the way it is now. too much of the same thing is bad. which is why myspace turned gay, i stopped using it as soon as they added the thing to the home page that shows everyones updates and recently added pictures. too gay.
