Not sure if the shop fucked up

If I was trying to be a fag I would have asked you for your phone number. I was just telling you my opinion on the issue as a shop tech. People think skis are way to delicate. Theres a reson they cost as much as they do.
 
Yeah word, people are fags when it comes to stuff like that, i remember when i mounted a monster 88 and we didnt have the wide mounting plate (or wtf its called in english) So i put some adapters on the thin one and put them pretty wrong so that the drill holes got all messed up.

But i had only drilled like 1mm or less in to the ski and he was like "aahh no i cant ski with them, I will only think about them holes"

TINY FUCKING HOLES that didnt mean shit.
 
Shouldnt matter at all. If there is a major problem then they should refund/buy new skis..if not, then who the hell cares.
 
I've worked in a shop for a while, and its called base dimpling. Normally when your mounting a binding and you think the screws might be too long you keep your hand under it so you can feel if it starts to dimple. The shop should replace the ski's. Its not just a mater of grinding the base flat again. Its almost impossible to drill too far unless your an idiot and dont know what bit to use (a ski with metal in it uses a longer bit then a wood core), its if the screw is too long and it compresses the rest of the material and push's out the base. bottom line the base shouldn't dimple when mounting, so they should be responsible for fixing them
