So, i've been skiing 3-4 days a week so far this season, and i haven't learned any new tricks at all. in fact, i don't even have some of my tricks from last season back yet (i've gone skiing about 14-15 times so far). anyone know how to get my stoke back on?

You need to go skiing with your friends. Feed off their enthusiasm. Your stoke level will increase with the amount of cool people you ski with.

Don't be a pussy and throw shit that you know you'll fall on. Throw it enough and you'll land it. =stoke

quit worrying about tricks and just have fun. They come naturally that way, in my opinion a faster way to learn too.

Its hard when your start out again on the new season, ive only been skiing 4-5 times this year @ my local hill, (so far) Because you have all the tricks that you got last year in memory but they arnt in muscle memory yet. For me its a good 8 months off skiing before i can do it again, thats a long time to lose that. But anyways, ive had the same problem before, you just have to not worry about tricks, and pushing yourself to "get your shiit," jus go out and have fun, ski with friends, go look for pow stashes etc...when you start having fun and getting "loose" you'll get your tricks and more no problem. I actually learned a couple on the first day.

This. there is nothing like taking a day to just cruise around. Avoid the park next time you go and take some cuts into powder or bomb some mogul runs, Skiing in great conditions, like the whole US has right now, stokes me more than anything else and releases my mind from the stress of doing new tricks.

O im so sorry for this, ur so unlucky that u have been skiing 3-4 DAYS A WEEK. pity, good thing im skiing a solid 0 as of now

This!
The best advice I ever received was from my friend Hayden P. who told me that the best skier on the entire mountain is the one who has the most fun, even if that is a kid on the bunny hill.
Don't get down on yourself because you can't land certain tricks, just go do what feels right and it'll come back in time.

yeah this was happening to me also...but i just said w.e went and had some fun on some non park trails then after i felt good again went and shredded it up and learned a bunch of new stuff dont get down on urself

just cruise around your mountain and look for little hits to do stupid stuff off and have fun! I was doing this last weekend and stomped my first super clean hand drag corked 1 off a giant snow pile under a gun!

Dude that means you're getting better, you're not supposed to be stoked when you ski. You're supposed to act like nothing happened, sounds like you're gettin it.
