Im not hating on anybody, but I dont see how a pair of tiny board shorts from quicksilver is furthering the sport. plus a city of a million people has got to have more than one freeride shop

ya man, there isn't a demand for another shop like taht, calgary doesn't need it as of right now, fresh and ski cellar have got everyone who needs to and wants to ski covered and taken care of. and who cares if they don't have there armada stuff and siver stuff all the time, those are small companies and there shipments are consistent and comparitive yet to the other large companies

you may be right about more than 2 companies, but there are times when supply does not mean demand, you know what happens in times like those? i'll tell you.....cutbacks, meaning less spending and buy outs or shutdowns, if you're opening a store or know of a store opening i garauntee it won't last, fresh played it smart and opened at a crucial time, they as of now own the market as well as ski cellar, there is no need for a third store, if there was then fresh would have expanded to a 2nd store a long time ago

when you say that quick silver board shorts dont do anything to progress our sport, your right. but they have them there so they can make money in the summer, when most unlucky people dont get to go skiing. i think fresh ski cellar and techno sport are the some of the coolest places to hang out.
