Nosepress with Full Tilts

Hi!

I just bought a new pair of Drop Kick Full Tilt boots. When I try to nosepress or to nollie, the boots are so flexible that they don't allow me to get the back of my skis up.

What's wrong?

Thanks in advance for your answers

P.S. I got THalls so the skis shouldn't be the problem.

If the boot is too soft all you will be doing is flexing the boot, now of the pressure will be transferred to the tips of the skis. They might just simply be to soft for your weight.

So what should I do? Maybe change the front part of the boot? Or maybe the skis will get less stiffer with time?

And I don't think it's about the weight :/ Some people that are way more heavy then me are able to do some great nosepress with full tilts

you are confused, weight makes butters and presses easier, not harder. Also its not the boots i have 6 flex boots as do many of my friends and its not an issue at all. It is either your technique or weight.

It's probably the technique, not the weight.

I'll try to pull my skis with my heels and less by pushing on the front of the boot. Maybe that will help.

No, i'm more talking about nolllies

But you're right, that really depends, sometimes it's better to put your weight on the front of the boot. For nose but for example

150 pounds on 4 flex booters. yeah its shitty doing nollies with soft flexing boots. however theres two things that i might suggest. if ur on a cliff, do nollies frequently, you will know when the boot stops flexing and your skis lift up. also , i don't know if u do it or if it really helps but when i nollie, just before i cross my arms in front me and when i start going forward and flexing, i swing my arms out and i lean forward. hope i helped...

I had this problem. I have some hotdoggers I've been skiing for a few years so they're pretty flexy. My solution was to lean far forward, like you would normally, bend my knees and pop from the tips of my toes, then I'd lean ahead of my skis if that makes any sense.
