Nose Press Style...

I've seen them done a few different ways and juct curious what everyone thinks looks better. The DNA ad on page 36 of the December freeskier (sorry, no pic, i haven't learned how to do that yet...) John spriggs is doing one, and he is basically standing up and only leaning forward a little bit. I'm comparing this to a poster i have of Tanner doing one and he is bent completely over at the hips like he's trying to touch his toes...

Any thoughts? Personally i prefer Spriggs'.

wit all do respect its all relative. becasue hes taller hes heavier, so He would have to do the exact same thing to keep himself balanced.

when your leading ski reachs the end, rotate 90 deg. and pull your knees into your stomach as you turn. stomp it and straighten up.

that's exact. and his skis are longer and a lot of other facts make the nose press the same difficulty from a person to another... I guess

that dna add.... a boarder saw it at my school at starting laughing about how lame it was and that we cant take a boarder trick cause it will look like shit. another kid saw hoot brown's nose press, and was like "man i really dont give skiing anough credit with style"

The sweetest nose press ive seen was in push/pull. I believe it is only in pull and eric pollard. It is sort of a bonk press on a box but it is amazing.

im pissed i can't find it, but there used to be this sick pic of pollard doing a huge nose press at northstar, it was on line's site last year and in some of their adds i think. also, back in the day mike nick had a filthy nose press on the top of this concrete wall thing that was also a line add.

Eric Pollard is the only skier i've seen do an actual true Nose PRESS. All those pics are real sick though

^that one isnt fair or cool becuase itsa specific setup for that trick. and hes only on there for like a second or two... he couldnt do that on anything bigger (sorry to ruin your day, kid who has wet dreams about pollard)

i think the pic of the guy with the orange hat and white coat is by far the best. i definately prefer the subtle lean, rather than the exagerated lean where you you can practically touch your tips.

Spriggs looks different because he pulls his heels back and Slides onto his nose like 3/4 of the way through the rail. Its definitely sick, he just has a different idea/style of nose slide.

what the.....

at first i thought it was a different language

pollards self edit one is the greatest nose press evaaa. theres another sick one in the top rated
