Nose butters

when you do nose butters, do you keep your legs locked straight or do you bend them. keeping them straight seems to work the best but it kills my heels

Def bend those knees, it helps me get over the tips better. i had real short skis like 160 cause my sister never used them, then when i got my new 170 somethings from armada i thought i lost the abilty to nose butter but if you bend ur knees and force urself over the tips it helps you get higher, rather than having ur tails like an inch off the ground. and ur heels hurting prolem... no idea ur boots must b bad. i had hard as boots and they always used to kill me big toe when buttering but now i got softer ones and i never have a problem anymore.

If your boots don't lock your heels down properly they can move out of place when buttering, sometimes painfully.

sometimes my heel hurts with that too but i broke mine pretty bad like 3 years ago and now my bone kind of sticks out a little bit from my foot so when it moves just a little inside my boot it can hurt

for long butters straight (like the kid abouve said), and then if you want to pop off of butters you want to bend your legs then go straight to pop..
