Nose Butter Help

As trivial as it may sound, finding difficulty working through getting a real griselda bend in the skis when i’m doing my NB180s and NB360s.

working with JSki All plays, the skis for sure lean towards a tad stiffer than buttery sweet sticks like #bendyourblends or the most enormous vishnu’s you can procure.

putting all of my weight forward as i work through the rotation but not getting the true NB motion.

thoughts? crank my boots another few notches? be steezier? buy jet skis and rock Gus Kensworthys Dior kit i keep getting IG ads for?

some clips to help us give you some tips? Alex Hackel had tutorial that was great, can't find it :/ maybe search youtube, stomp it tutorials is quite trustworthy with good toutorials

pretend you are doing a 3 while skiing over a roller , set the 3 so that you can flex and drag the tips at 90-180 over the lip of roller , look ocer your shoulder and spot the landing . Very easy

I have no reason to think your doing this, but I see kids try to nose butter and just do a worm motion and push there weight forward rather then onto the ski. Post clip

They definitely don’t lean towards the stiff side sorry g, they’re not as soft as blends or wets but they’re still soft as fuck

I have the all plays. And they have a sweet spot you got to get to. I've done up to 720(abiet holding the nose) I find it's a slight pop and slight pull the tails to your bum.and a little shimmy with the skis and look through the spin

Some are just gonna be lower than others and that’s perfectly fine because of the ski you’re using. I see a lot where people don’t get high up like a lot of the jibbers do. I guess maybe more strength forward when you pop a lil while keeping the noses down. Some people use poles if the skis are too stiff but that obviously looks kinda weird.

my nose butters got good recently out of nowhere, i kinda just started committing to it more and leaning over my noses a lot more on knuckles and it clicked. now i can do nb3s anywhere and almost nb5s on knuckles and im working on trying a proper griselda flip soon.

It's all about commitment. The more you go for it, the better it works. A bit of speed is your friend. If you skis are a bit stiffer, you just need a bit more speed and commitment. This is how I learned: Start with some flat ground buttering. Get nice and comfy on your noses. do switch nose butters trying to really butter them. Practice little 180s instant pop switch 180. Now get a bit of speed and a knuckle and pop a 180 and now instead of just popping a switch 180, pop it off your noses. Every time get more and more on your noses, and more and more of the spin and press on your noses. Don't know if that made any sense, but just how I learned nose butter 3s.
