Today, the Norwegian National Team for skiing was founded.
They are starting tryouts the 14th of November to see who is going to be the national riders.
What do you guys think about this? Is skiing starting to get to serious or is it just good for the sport? What country would have the strongest/best national team?

I´m not sure anyone really knows yet. But I´m guessing it might function kinda like the Norwegian Snowboard national team..

Take free skiing from being an underground sport to an event being broadcasted in the media on a regular basis. This brings both good and bad to the table but all in all it brings more money into the game and we are likely to take benefit from this.

There has been a norwegian national team for like a zillion years. they win a lot of races. you must be referring to a national freeskiing program.

the united states is really falling behind on something we created. damn recession.

we would still dominate though.
