Hey guys, so i am going to be working in norway all summer this year and earlier this year during christmas time i received a Canon T3i and have really started to like photography...and videography..

My question is what lens should i buy for the summer my bday is coming up and i don't want to spend more than 500 but I'm not sure if i should get a telephoto lens or like a 50mm for video...

I also need a tripod and I'm not sure what to get i don't want to spend more than 150 if you could help me out or give me some suggestions that would be awesome thanks!!

Need way more info than that. What lenses do you have now? What tripod do you have now? What are you going to be shooting the most?

check out www.foto.no (norwegian photo site)

så ser du på bruktmarkedet der, du kan være heldig å finne objektiver til veldig lave priser.

^^ jeg kjoper her is USA men hellers takk, and i only have the lens kit so 18-55 and i don't have a tripod and I'm not sure i feel like i would shoot a bunch of landscape because its so beautiful there

what do you guys think about the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS?? and the Dolica AX620B100 62 inch proline tripod and ball head

for about 50 dollars more you can find a used canon 70-200 f4. very sharp lens, constant aperture, and ive heard meh reviews about the 70-300.and tripods depend on what your going to be using it for. i dont even own one and i can do fine. definitely my next investment though, might wanna put your money into lenses or something.

your saying you heard good reviews on the 70-300? and ill look into the 70-200 F4 i would rather have a solid f-stop but whatever is better I'm kind of just getting into that shit so i have a lot to learn

ive heard good and bad... most of the things ive heard is that its just an overall mediocre lens. definitely go with the 70-200 over the 70-300, very high quality lens
