Any Northstar locals know what the parks are lookin' like? Fully built? Gonna be out there next week just wanna know what o expect.

I was up about a week ago, its pretty solid but we haven't gotten snow since the big dump around Christmas so getting firmer by the day
Check out the black and yellow on the gram. Check the feed and prolly rhe northstar parks page share them.

1 2 3 on pinball midway are the biggest jumps they build. If they're tiny theyll prolly get bigger when they get more snow

Mini 3 pack and main 3 pack are pinball. Rail line in pinball is technically straights and they were going to nuke it but brought it back. Everything from basically the headwall above the main jump line on the lift line side of the trees is race shit now i think. That big 2 pack and other features probably wont come back.

Diamond peak builds good stuff but the location for the psrks are pretty steep. Boreal is always sick. Northstar is still sick honestly. Sucks about Sierra. Hoping they come back strong

unfortunately theres no affordable housing at the base of Northstar my guy. its simply a mtn of convenience for me, I walk to the gondola on the daily. And yeah, I wish the park was actually valid, but it could be worse tbh. Mott Canyon is also pretty fun, given theres good snow, but I hear where ur coming from

+1 for Diamond Peak, park is firing this season.

Update: Northstar was fun af and they were building the Straits last Friday. Looked like a pretty big jump and a few tiers of rails going in, so it's not all racing thankfully. Pinball wasn't as jam packed as the last time I was there with only the one medium jump vs the old 3 pack, but was still a good ass lap especially the 5 or so tubes to start it. Still my favorite park.
Heavenly park was fun but small. Hit up The Y in Motts, probably the gnarliest line of the trip for me. Squaw had some bad conditions but we made the most of it, was bummed KT was mostly closed. Squaw park laps reminded me of good old Ohio lol.
All in all dope trip to Tahoe. Jealous of those who get to call it home.
