Northern Lights tonight

Did anybody else catch these? The first time I have ever seen em and it was mind blowing. There were pink, green, white, blue and yellow stripes and patches everywhere. The whole sky was filled here in Southern Vermont.

^Darn you beat me. Anyway, the Aurora Borealis was SOOOOOO gorgeous this morning. It was crazy. We get the northern lights quite often up here, but not like they were last night and this morning. There were some sick ass photos taken.

My uncle called from Nantucket to tell me about it, so I went and waited on my roof with my camera and fresh film for about 45 minutes. Then I realized that with the lights from the city, etc. I wasn't gettin' no Aurora Borealis lovin'.

The northern lights are so great. The southern lights are supposed to be even better. And the halos that are seen in Antarctica. I know someone who spent alot of time in Antarctica studying it all.

yeah in barrie ontario we saw them tonight. went out jibbin and saw the northern lights for the first time all in one day.

I saw them here in the very north of new york state too last night. It was amazing. Then it got cloudy.

Saw them yesterday night at about 7pm near Buffalo, NY.

Northern horizon had green blotches,fading to blue upwards. Then if you looked upwards ore, it was bright red leading towards this almost like burst of of reds, and purples directly overheard. so cool.

I couldn't see them here because of all the ambient light around my appartment building. I saw this summer in Newfoundland.

Wow, we were watching them in Edmonton Alberta last night too!!! I wonder how much of the world could see them?

We get them probably at least once a week in the winter here, but they're still amazing to see.
