Northeast ski recs

Hey guys I am a JFBB skier, unfortunately the mountains are straight up cock and balls right now. My friend and I were intending to hit something up this coming week for some fun before we head back out to college. Where do you guys recommend skiing at in the northeast this week? We both have the northeast epic pass thing (sorry for supporting vail—but money), if that helps.

If you’re trying to stay ON your pass

-Hunter is great, don’t think they have park open yet, still a great place regardless.

-Mount Snow is beautiful and has does have park open

Bonus OFF pass mountain.

-Butternut, $35 during the week, never crowded, very nice park setup but nothing crazy, and some great groomers to burn down… also Calyx dispensary has some bomb ass weed and is 5 mins away. Just bring ID

holy fuck blue was unskiable today it was so icy

yeah man it’s been rough but i grew up skiing in the east i know how it is… JFBB is just not skiable in the slightest right now. Not to mention a grand total of 3 features that aren’t Deathly Sketchy

Just saw on hunter's insta that their park opened today, going this weekend will post here how it is.

Comments were saying it’s small, but you can’t blame em. They can only work with what they got in terms of snow, they just don’t have the base layer to make the features safe/stable. I know for a fact Hunter Park crew wants that shit open asap. They were helping locals set up rails/tubes at one point when they didn’t have the green light to open park. Love to hear that shit.

Yeah, something is better than nothing I'm just glad to have one. From who I've talked to I heard that the management really fucked over the previous park crew and they all walked out on them. Hopefully they don't make the same mistakes this year
