What are you New Englanders skiing in your backyard now that we have two feet. Post your setups and ideas for features. Right now I got a thirteen foot rail with a couple of jumps.

sketchy ass drop in to down box to up elbow rail but the begining of rail is higher than end of box so its sketchy as fuck

we just hit urban yesterday instead.....

first urban rail i've ever hit but the crew i went with has hit urban before so it was chill

What's the best way to groom and build jumps out of this fluff? We have 2+ feet of snow plus a few more inches falling today and I'd like to set up my rail and build a pow jump and a drop in but there's just so much goddamn snow.

make a big pile and salt itwater too but not too much water

ontario is golden right now we got about a foot of snow then for the last 2 or 3 days it's been +2ish making it perfect packing snow. if I didn't have a busted knee I would have slain so many handrails

i'd like to see you hit that rail d00000d.

the stairs are more dug out than they appear. underneath the snow on the left side of the rail was a rock wall laiden with thorny bushes but the rock wall was like a foot away from the rail itself so everytime we ate it we would push that snow onto the stairs and we didn't feel like shoveling it after every hit

shovel the stairs so i can land on them with my currently separated shoulder, still broken thumb, and busted knee?

yeah, okay bud

you gotta shovel the stairs bud.

Also, your jump is so goddamn tall you made it a ride on rail.

If youre gonna show pics, do the right thing: Shovel the stairs.

geez man.

why so much hate in this thread? this kid was just stoked to be out there taking advantage of all the snow and everyone is shitting on him. If i had a separated shoulder i certainly wouldn't be out there hitting urban and im sure most of you wouldnt be either

Landed my first back flip(my home mountain doesn't allow inverted tricks so gay) on a jump in one of my friends back yard.

My friends made a little jib park on a hill next to a playground at their church. It had a tiny little jump that you could barely 3 off of because of the lip, but added a big bucket to it so we could do taps and shit. We also snagged the like wood benches with a plastic covering over them from the playground and made rails and boxes. I taught my friend 270's off and it was his like 2nd time skiing since he was 8.

to everyone above

no, the jump is not nearly close to the top of the rail. the rail actually begins out of the frame (anybody with half decent observation skills could realize that) and it starts at the end of a fence going perpendicular to it. the lip of the jump is nowhere near the top of the rail.

and to the kids saying shovel the stairs, lets see your urban shots on 4+ kink rails....

closeout with a 15 foot down flat and down rail, 20 foot up down tube, quarterpipe with corrugated and 15 foot flat box
