North American Open at Big Bear

First of all, Jon at Big Bear will be odd. In a region where 99.9% of the population is a thug gangster snowboarder, hopefully skiing can make its mark by setting up one of the dopest slopsetyles ever.

Right now, the run where the open was last year has a 20 foot down rail to a 12 foot jump, to a 15 foot step up thing, with a flat box box at the end. It sucks. The main park is looking better, at the bottom there are 5 30 foot booters with a bundle of jib options. Anyone know the layout for the open?

Anyone from Cali gonna cruise to this event?

I am pretty sure there will be stops at Bear and maybe Mt. Snow? I remember reading that anyways. I might make it up just to see... not competing for sure.

shit..looks like ill be just missing the event..i arrive in big bear like the 12 ski the 12th or 13th..staying in the SO CAL area and making a trip to big bear on my way over to palm springs...hopefully they will have some good setups then and if anyone wants to ride let me know i gotta rent or demo skis as well not bringing my gear and shit...ill have dslr cam with me if u want some good shots as well..
