Nordica Double six ski boots

I was gonna link you to a thread that says go toa bootfitter but I'll just tell you, go to shop, try them on. Look at the thread stickied at the top of gear talk on boots.

i own nordica AoS boots and they're pretty much identical to the dub 6's, except for the flex, the dub6s are the softest and aos is the stiffest.... (dead money is the medium flex boot)

if they fit your feet they're gonna be super comfy for sure, and a really good platform to ski on!

just got em there pretty sick but im not a hundred percent sure about the width i still might return em and i went to a bootfitter

that's pretty much all i've been seeing on threads about the two, but here's my question. why is the double six ~$200 cheaper than the ace of spades? is the stiffness really that much different? i got the opportunity to try on a pair of double six's a few weeks ago and really liked the fit, didn't get to try ace of spades.

basically, for skiing both park and trees will the double six be too soft, and is a stiffer boot worth the extra cash? i'm around 150lbs

The price difference comes down to the stiffness, liner, grip pads... The only way to know if the stiffer boot will work for you is if you try it on with a boot-fitter. The flex is not dependent on where you ski, but whether or not you have the ankle flexibility, weight and/or strength to flex it. If someone else loves it for trees but you can't flex it, it won't work well in the trees for you. The boot that fits you the best will ski park & trees equally well.

this, i work at a shop and my advice would be to go to the shop and get fitted and just find a boot that works for you
