Nordica Boots difference

Hey I am thinking about buying some nordica boots. Does anybody know the diff between supercharger ignition and spark? Is the Ignition really worth the extra 100 bucks?

The Ignition has a better liner (precision fit), has a 80-90 flex, thicker strap - 45mm twin energy driver

The Spark is a lower end liner (comfort fit), 70-80 flex, 35mm single energy driver strap

Probably worth the extra $100

The ignition is basically the same boot as a Beast 10

I heard some stuff about the ignition being a wide boot. Is this true? I am about 5'6 140 and have skinny feet so. Any help?

Ignitions are 101mm wide.

To compare against other boots on width alone (Say in a 27.5 size)

SPKs are 106mm

Salomon XWave 8's are 100mm

Dalbello Krypton Rampages are 98mm

They are on the wider side.

Seriously, don't buy a boot based on it's width. Shell out the cash and go to see a bootfitter. Boots will last you much longer than a pair of park skis.

Right on bucko.

The spark is virtually the same EXACT boot as the beast 10, with a rivet in the back that really doesnt change how stiff it is in all reality, and has a similar, yet not as massively comfortable as the ignition. It has a narrower powerstrap.

the Ignition is a WEE bit stiffer than the beast 10, has a kick to the fucking ass liner, and delivers the best vibration absorbtion of any boot i've ever skied with. sick sick boot. really veristile on its fit.

the enforcer and the blower are both more like the hot rod boot of old...

have a look in the shop manual then, and you'll see why there is a difference in price. It's not because they are a different flex. The liners are more customizable and overall way fucking better.
