The NorAm finals will draw Olympic athletes from both the US and Canadian teams. Also included in the field is freestyle superstar and holder of 10 X-Games medals, Jon Olsson, who now is participating in both freestyle and racing events with aspirations of racing in the 2014 Olympics.

i'm still unsure of what we are discussing. Were you unaware Jon has been racing for the past few years and plans on attending the 2014 Olympics? Jon is currently ranked 1st for GS for the NorAm Cup standings, he's killing it.
 
i just checked his FIS points, he has been ripping but if he steps up to world cup he will probably have a hard time
 
I think Jon will kill it and do well, but the Swedish team is really strong right now, there are stil a few Swedes ahead of them. Jon is progressing ridiculously fast though and should do well.

Noram finals would be soooo good to watch. Some awesome guys going to be there.
 
i don't get this discussion but they were at my home mountain today(Burke) jon didn't end up racing but the original course was deemed too fast after the for runners all almost died and then the athletes didn't like how slow the re set course was and the winner finished in one minute and nine seconds
 
i could be wrong but i believe Jon is only racing in the GS and maybe SL which are both at waterville and the super g and super combined are at burke. the GS is tomorrow and the SL is on the 18th i think.
 
i think most of those races were cancelled. i know the super g at burke went down but the race day, and i assume tomorrow, got cancelled.

 
yeah seems like jon didn't have a great day but some of my homies shredded like robby kelley and warner nickerson
 
Pretty sure Jon won the overall NorAm cup with his 13th place.I guess he's really on a good pace to make the olympics in 2014.
 
just found out jon is going to sugarbush thursday friday for some races which i am going to too! haha psyched to meet him
