Noob question about custom footbeds

So I've finally gotten full custom footbeds. They've been treating me oh so well for the last year. Only problem is, the boots they're currently in are now temporarily broken. Can I take the custom footbed inserts out of my boot and put it into another boot? The other boot is an older pair of full tilts, very similar shape. Or is this not good for the footbed?

If your other boots are generally the same size and shape, this should not be a problem at all. If they fit, you are good to go- just be aware that the "old" liner has not been heat molded with your footbed and your foot & ankle might therefore be in a different position than before. (you should get the liner's heat molded again just to make sure you are comfortable)

Thanks, I went and did just that and they feel great. Should totally hold me over while my primary pair are fixed
