Hey M&A! I was wondering if you guys could help me work on this video for my final film project. It's a rough cut, a couple of color correction mistakes here and there but I wanted to see what you guys thought of it! ANY advice would be great! Some of the shots are shaky because I made a DIY camera slider and it didn't work out very well. Password is "jump"

You shot that like you were exporting in 16X9, not 2.35:1, which ended up cropping out a bunch of detail and made other shots look really weird/have really awkward perspectives. Some shots are great 2.35:1 but others look incredibly awkwardly squeezed.

agreed but mainly in the begging. the speed ramping on successful attempts was really nice (idk i have a hard time doing that)

overall was really good

You filmed that as if you were rendering in 16:9, and not 2.35:1. I think it may have ended up removing some of the detail and it made a few of the other shots look kind of odd or like they have have unnatural perspectives. I liked some of the shots in 2.35:1 but a few of the others looked unnatural and pinched.

my real quark was the slider shots as you mentioned. There were a few others that looked like they were handheld as well that should have maybe been tripod? I thought colors looked alright except the first shot of the track shoes...those things looked soo soo bright white without any detail. neat story tho
