No videos of The Bunch

I looked at The Bunch's vimeo and they have no videos. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem or they actually don't have any vidoes now
 
They saw the light and realized skiing like an inflatable used car thing was stupid. Pretty sure they came out with a press release in the New York Times proclaiming new wave is dead.
 
The bigger issue here is that Vimeo nuked Liam McKinley’s account and a LOT of really really great ski content is gone.

wtf is wrong with Vimeo, I understand removing videos during upload but deleting without warning years after the video was posted is wack
 
Vimeo had a big change in policy the last year and if you didn't pay they ripped all the videos down without warning kinda...same thing happened to me. Im assuming they got caught up in the same stuff
 
Yup, what 860 said - So many nuked Vimeo accounts for copyright since their policies changed. Mine got got almost 2yr ago. Youtube is a lot friendlier with not removing copyrighted content (instead choosing to show ads or restricting country access), so it’s possible they will reupload there or elsewhere similarly.

Yeah my vimeo got deleted too, I had no idea either because the email on my account I stopped using (custom email from website) so I they sent me an email every time they found copyrighted material, which was like a two week span I suppose. I asked for them to reactivate my account, even without the videos and they said no.

But, luckily all of my edits that were on vimeo are still on NS along with anyone else who has ever uploaded an edit since 1999, maybe they'll post some of the old edits on NS for our viewing pleasure.

YUP! NS saved some of my old edits from going to my grave. But, if you write a pretty good email saying that you didn't back up any of your footage and your life is on Vimeo they will give you 48 hours to rip all you videos off. I had to do this for the mountain I work for unfortunately . Some of the athletes were freaking out that the content was gone forever and I saved all of em....I had to download stuff like a maniac for 48hrs.....but better than nothing. Who knows if they still do it though....

Yeah I might have been too late, I didn't actually talk to anyone for like 6 months because I actually had no idea my account had been deleted. Ah well.

The bunch had a cool unique editing style to the videos all lsd and shit

But God new wave is gay

I'm sick of all these kids throwing out instabangers with psy trance, mumble rap and neon skis. Just 50/50ing boxes and throwing their hands like wacky inflatable arm flailing tube man. Even worse is when a chick posts something and the skiing is god awful, then she gets reposted by every major skiing company and 2000 likes

wtf, the one video (so far...) that Vimeo deleted off my account was almost 10 years old and wasn’t backed up, I had an email back n forth and even asked if they could let me download the file with no audio, and he said no...if they actually let you recover the footage I’m gonna email them back
 
Deleting ancient videos and not giving opportunity to recover them is wack. Hate to see that some dope edits or even just personal footage is gone forever
 
No more Nimbus Independent vids (OR ACCOUNT) either :( Vimeo is not doin too hot with people who want free accounts anymore

yea they gave me access to rip down the files....But, this was back in December. They might have deleted all the copyright stuff by now. wish ya luck
 
Wouldn't this be a great way to advertise NS media player to companies and content creators? No risk of losing great edits sounds like a great deal...

Almost made a thread about it, but it would be nice if NS let you replace a video file without re-uploading; say you had an edit that was on embedded from Vimeo that got deleted, instead of reuploading it you could just replace the embed/file but keep the views/comments

This would be true if the quality was up to par with other sites. When I have ripped edits off NS it looks like I filmed it with a potato.

If the video is uploaded to NS, there will be a black down arrow next to the rating and share button, far right.
