Dave Levin explained this awhile back so i could have some of the details wrong but, im pretty sure what the deal was was that salomon said they wouldnt sponsor MSP's movie if it had any armada riders in it so they ended up not filming with Tanner,

he is a sick skier you cant take that away form him but it would have been cool to see him in more then one flick this year i think it hurts his name and maybe armada

I heard that Steve Winter and Murray Weis thought Tanner wasted their money last year in Cordova, AK and they didn't want him to do it again this year. From the looks of Focused, they made a smart decision. Tanner's seg in Ski Movie 3 featured all that Tanner can do.....mainly switch rodeos and railslides....that's how they represented it. Happy Dayz did a lot better job of showing tanner's talent...but face it....Tanner wasn't meant to ski big mountain, his inner park rat won't let him.

I have 1242 and he didn't ski big mtn. very good. Man, take that kid to the Coast Range of BC and make him take 40 footers. And hitting BC kickers isn't big mtn. skiing. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. YOU DON'T HAVE TO AGREE, but compared to what Pep did in Focused...Tanner's 'big mtn' part in 1242 doesn't compare. Pollard rips the big mountain better than Tanner too

yeah man fore sure to each his own. I dont agree with you but I have only seen 1242 once and I will go over it again but I remeber him doing big lines for some reason.
