What do ya think?

omg u actually set it up right...and what is that...no gay ass gaurd on the top???take THAT lakeridge...

oo ours is set up right too, hip on is dope, and quarter pipe up is dope, we just didnt have enough snow before, and those guards on the sides were cut off, but the ones on the back are still there, cuz we dont wanna get sued by some kid who fell 20 feet and broke his leg

Don't get too excited by no guard....I think I'll be putting one on to...I'm just doing some research....you know...its the liability thing again....

Glad you like so far..

Oshawa Ski Club (aka Kirby)

Its NOT plywood...it is made from...

2" steel pipe

Plywood Base

3/4 Plastic Ride Surface

its solid..I don't kid around..I want this stuff to last, and be a solid ride...remember I ride this stuff too, so I have an idea at least how things should be built.

If you notice, I marked out each foot higher along the right side...just to settle any rider disputes...

Ours will just be a railingacross the back...with pads on it...so if someone over shoots the top....there is something to catch them....

What I'm having difficulty with is the railing to catch people idea....lol...

I want to go with a transistion on the back side that if you do happen to go over, there is a "landing" tranny to accept you to earth again....it seems like a good idea to me...I just need to do some research.

Where the wall is set up, this is very do-able, and possibly a better answer then the padded rail.

really good idea, props to that

and people, stop saying, "finally someone did it right" cuz ur gay, and dont hate on lakes wall, it slides perfectly fine, even if its plywood, this is a sick wall, and lakes wall is sick also

Just wait Crystal....I'll show you.....*evil laugh*

Yes, many people are under that impression...

Those were my 1080's....this year I'm skiing HEAD MOJO 80's and you'll probably see me on some Elan Green team thinga ma jigs....sweet skiis.

I've been known to strap them on...I mostly ski incogneto.....Maybe I've mentioned that I am one of the few GMs to ski in the park REGULARILY?

Thought I had...Getting old though...soon to be 30....little less brave these days...

3/4 Plastic Ride Surface?

what the hell is that?

Its all about the plywood base.

HAHAHHAHA.

Good job gordon.

I hope to see the PARK open by NEXT weekend....

Yes...3/4" plastic....SUPER SECRET HIGHLY CLASSIFIED LEVEL 10 TECHNOLOGY NOT YET RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC....plastic...lol

Other wards...I'm not saying anything until I see if it works...seems GOOD, hasn't been ridden yet...

and I gotta say....

I was at Dagmar wednesday, meeting with the owners and the Durham Region Tourism department to try and get an action plan in place to positively promote the industry....Your park looks good guys...Love the artwork...

I stopped in to see Rieky at Lakerridge, Peeked at the wall...(well the back of the wall) neato...

and then on to Skyloft...to be honest...i didn't see much there....but it does have a nice view....

See.....we can all be friends....

I was at the hill...wall looks dope. Instead of a gaurd rail, i might suggest a small deck with a railing. That way if someone overshoots it, they just fall a couple feet onto a deck, rather than risking getting a leg caught in the rail. Also, it would produce a wicked area to film from!
