No skiing for me

I know there are millions of threads where people bitch about their injuries but heres one more

i actually didnt have an injury this year but i had busted my knee last year and that ended my last season which sucked enough but then i was told that it could be fixed with a minor surgery (I was able to ski before but it was still a little fucked up). So after a year of waiting i finally got to the operation table last monday. I was told that ill be fine in 1 or max 2 weeks.

So after the surgery i woke up in the hospital and i didnt feel so bad and everything was cool. But then after some waiting a nurse comes to me and says im going to get you something that will support your knee. At this point i was a bit confused but it really didnt bother me that much but then she comes in and starts to explain how i need to wear the knee brace (correct word?) for six weeks and i cant run or anything for 3 months. It turned out that they didnt even fix the part of the knee that was ment to be fixed but they put some screws and stuff in to an another part of my knee that didnt even bother me, and they did this without my or my parents permission.

So ill be just doing nothing for the next three months. And on top of it all when i went to the ER when the accident happened they said it will be ok in max. 3 weeks...

Damn i love the healthcare and doctors here

thats fuckin lammmmmmmmeeeeee

doctors are gay. All think their lives are sex and partying now that greys anatomy is out..

id imagine you could because if what he said is true and they didnt tell the parents or him, then he should take legal action for performing a wrong operation or something

This just sucks bro...but something makes me think there isn't any legal action available here unless they told you one thing and then they did something else. Something makes me think that the surgery is some how more interelated than you think, and that this probably will help in the long run. sorry to hear about your surgery, but just enjoy your meds like I am, watch skiing vids and learn eerything there is to know about every ski for next year. good luck.

well it sounds like it has potential for a malpractice suit, but only if what they did was actually ignorant, and set you back more than it did good.

My meds suck i cant get my head messed up with them.

And about sueing them i've thought about it but i dont think i will
