No more Tom Wallisch Full Tilt?

I don't really care, if Tom does change to Scott than full tilt will probably just change the name of the boot. We will still get the same boot just without tom's name on it

who says tom will leave a company where he already has a pro boot? just cause he rides scott goggs/skis/poles doesnt mean hes gotta be on scott for boots.

I don't think Tom would leave full tilt. From what I have heard full tilt does not pay their athletes and only gives them the gear. Pros use full tilts because they like them. Not positive about full tilt not paying their skiers.

this,

he seems to have a good think going with full tilt. plus the style of those scott boots wont float his boat i think

ummmm those are just rebranded garmonts....They didn't even change the name of the model on the delirium.

Well, Scott is responsible for the majortiy of Tom's income. Let's say they wanna market their boot line through a signature Tom Wallisch boot, I think if they would they could. I also think that since Scott is Wallisch's main sponsor, they would have little issue in persuading him to make a boot for them. Maybe he won't leave Full Tilt, but I just think that if Scott went all in and wanted to sit down with him and create a new freeski boot from the ground up, he wouldn't hesitate. He's collaboration with Scott is just too strong.

I never see him wear jiberish. It's a little odd how you'd think he'd wear it in PC when he's just cruising but he always wearing north face

The reason that he always wears the north face is because they pay him to wear it when he skis, but if he's in the town or not filming he will wear jiberish, its all about the money these days

I don't know about the others but Seth Morrison and Tom surely get money from Full Tilt. I mean, they market a boot with their name on it, that's certainly not free.

Agreed ^^

If scott wants him to ride their boots hes gunna. Boots are alot harder to market than skis(basically your not gunna necessarily sell more because of a name or sponsorship), cause there is alot more that goes into boot fitting in comparison to ski sizing. Skis are often relatively similar no matter the manufacturer. Boots not so much. So Scott probably wouldn't push him to ride their boots, at least for a couple of season.

Honestly, I feel as though he may leave Scott if they started pushing him. I doubt there's a ski company out there who wouldn't sponsor him. And full tilt is too good to leave

wasn't there something posted a while ago about how full tilt doesn't really sponsor anyone except for tom and seth because of royalties?

they didn't even change the color on the cosmos

Maybe it's because he's sponsored by TNF for outerwear? And Jiberish is a clothing company. Yeah he wears that black TNF hoodie when it's warm, but he also wears Jiberish when it's warm, too. And if you look at any picture of Tom not skiing, he's wearing Jiberish.

I agree with the majority of the people in this thread when I say that i doubt Tom would leave Full Tilt if Scott were to announce and sell a boot line. Scott makes outerwear yet he is payed by and wears north face. Its a lot different when your name is on one of the boots.

Are you drunk? Scott have been in the snow sector for decades, they've been making boots (on and off) and goggles since the 70's at least, and outerwear and skis since 1998.

They've been in the game along time for sure, but its a fact that they have exceeded in the last couple of years when it comes to making stuff, alot of that has to do with Tom.

Pretty sure he's not going to be forced in to skiing park in fucking touring boots you fucking gapers.

And you idiots need to get over the fact that anything speaks louder than money at the level that Wallisch is at. There is a huge discrepency between how the top pro's get taken care of, and the lower tier. And if Scott said they would pay him a fuck ton of money to ski in these, then I bet he would find a way to make it work.

In reality though, Scott is doing the same thing that every other big company is doing. Whatever they can to levereage the BC market, because they know all you fags would rather buy 90 dollar hoodies than real ski gear.

i could have sworn it was north face my bad. and i just don't get being sponsored by multiple apparel companies. i'd jump at the chance but it doesn't make much sense to me
