Sad day in tahoe... Kingvale is closing. Please help our friends at kingvale if you have any leads for them. Best of luck guys & keep living the dream!

oh come ON... who the hell else is going to use the land?

In this day and age, people have to realize that they cannot all be winners and they have to take what they can get when it comes to real estate... the landlord is just losing money on property taxes now because of not wanting to take the option to renew the lease...

So weak. Kingvale was the shit. Tons of fun rippin it up at that place the last few years... they were open longer than just about everyone last season, and were run efficiently, and they set up a pretty sick park that was fun for everyone.

I hope they find a new location...
 
Can you say tubing/sledding hill? Thats one business that could prosper there.

In any case, these guys need a new, BIGGER, more sloped area. Good luck Kingvale.
 
Here's the thing.. if you have a tenant already, and they dont suck, and they dont fuck up the land, and they pay their rent and everything, then WHY are you going to ditch them and hope that some new tenant comes around and throws more money at you?
There's already a sledding hill that's like free or something up at Cisco Grove. Why would you go to kingvale and pay?

 
the problem is: according to their landlord, they suck big time!

good question... wassup with the refunds?

hopefully they didnt already spend the cash... I knew it was bad news when they were unable to open the restaurant this summer
 
really bummed to hear... i know you guys can find something else! something that doesn't have a landloard that only wants tubing!
