No kings this season.

yea, its def. not their fault and they know it wont look good, so hopefully they will make up for it elsewhere.

With the lack of snow, this is no surprise to me. I'm really stoked that PC came out and said something and that they are now focusing on making bigger jumps for us still. Its a real bummer that there wont be a kings this year but its reassuring that they are promising a kings next year and we can only hope next year will be a better snow season. With this kind of snow fall and the amount of snowmaking needed at PC (not just the park) im surprised they even have the park they have now.

Hats off to PC, they're doing their best and I look forward to the new shit they're gonna set up in pick now!

But for real. Completely understandable. When I heard they were having a plan b, I thought of jonesey's but adding more fun stuff to pick would be awesome. It's pretty damn fun right now.

that woulda made my day if Plan B was to rebuild Joneseys... ah well. PCMR has had their park dialed from opening day when everyone else was dragging ass. I hope nobody is short sighted enough to start bitching at them for this.

I was hopping on here expecting people to freak out. I think ns is growing up or something weird.

I would trade Kings for Jonesey's, hands down. Jonesey's like 3 years ago was, in my opinion, one of the best parks PC ever set up. Also when kings was still the intermediate park. Things were quite legit.

Still stoked on the current state of Pick though.

Totally understandable, but i thought they should just do one massive overload run full of jibs? They could get that done with our current snow situation. and in the railyard, it seems like we certainly have plenty.

The thing that sucks most about this is

that now every single park (except ridge) is crowded onto a single lift.

Even with the faster lift the park gets way way way too crowded. With

Kings Crown way too many little kids are afraid to even go in there,

you could go ride the park solo when 3 kings got too crowded. I agree,

go make the park up on Jonesey's again. Higher elevation = cooler

temps. Already more snow up there than on the lower mountain. The

problem with not having Jonesey's is that in the spring the park on 3

kings melts out too quickly. GO BUILD IT!!

ALSO. There is no reason why they couldn't just set up a triple wide

rail line all the way down kings crown. There are SO SO SO SO SO many

rails just sitting up in the bone yard that will never be used. Go set 3

rail lines up on Kings Crown and build some bigger jumps in 3 Kings.

That way its like you left an intermediate park on Kings Crown and have

both an intermediate and advanced park line on 3 Kings!!!

The second option above seems way more reasonable than Jonesy's. Anyone know anyone on the park crew they can talk to.. just build jibs on Kings Crown.. would be so fun...

the graveyard of rails is damn far from kings crown. they could do it but seems it would take too much effort to setup/maintain a rail garden with alll those rails 3 wide than the return they would get from having a rail garden instead of the usual xxtremexx jumps big park.

idk why pcmr couldnt step up with key/breck, but its clear they dont care to for now. i cant complain anyway, the parks fuckin sick

its all about money man, breck/key have SO MUCH money and they both pride themselves in their park. I'd be willing to bet their budget (ie snowmaking, employees, cat time, etc) is significantly larger that PCs. PC's park manager/staff cares, but their mid level management doesn't.

like heath said stoked they came out and spoke up instead of leaving a lingering uncertainty...stoked to what they'll do for 3 kings considering they said they're going to continue to "knock it out of the park"

a long jib park in kings would be rad, but a bit of a bitch to maintain. hopefully w/e they build in the "quicksliver" line (the plan B they've given us) is big and works out.
