Nixon Headphones?

Fed up with skullcandy (5th broken pair in 6 months?) and i'm finally switching to another company. I hear Sennheiser's are sick, but Nixons just look so clean and i love their other products. Can anyone give me a small review of the wire, 8mm or 10mm? OR any of their other headphones? Thanks, +k
 
I've got Nixon earbuds and they seem to be ok, but I do get a lot of feedback through the wire when it bounces against me or moves around.
 
i got the wire 8 nomadic. they are insane. i kinda want to say bose quality honestly. def dont use them to ride in though. they break super easy. i hit a tree with mine and the ear snapped off so i had to get a new pair. they are fuckin sick for party rollin though cause the entire ear is the volume control. just turn your ear up lol.
 
If you are looking for something that has great sound AND great style, get the Dr. Dre SOLO! About 200$ depending on where you get them, but you get boss quality with a more solid headphones.
Nixon are just rebranded cheap seinheizer driver. But if sound isn't really a concern, get the sony dj headphones, much more solid than the Nixon.

Yeah I got the Nixon wire mic I-phone headphones. Maybe its just my ear setup but the damn earbuds always be fallin out while I ski. Especially when Im smashin, or gettin my jib on. Also the little remote that lets you forward tracks and throw it on pause is hella sensitive. All the sudden while I'm ridin my music will just get set on pause. I'd personally go with somethin else.

The Dre headphones sound aweful for the price in my opinion, my Bose sound much better to me and you can find a great pair for around $100. I have a pair of Nixon earbuds that I use with my iPhone and I am very happy with them.
 
i have the nixon equivalent to the icon. Loved them for two weeks, then they broke... i liked them enough for me to try to fix them though, so i guess its up to you

I compared them both side by side, and for the same price, you get a more solid headset AND a stronger cable.. which is what I needed. Sound is just a bit less richer!
 
haha yeah i know where hes from. I've never been a huge fan of the guy but I got respect for his uniqueness of delivery and ability to switch up his flow. It was a good business move for lynch to collabo with strange because his madesicc label wasn't as well known, and any artists names that he did have on his label didnt get recognized outside of sacramento. Erryone knows who Tech N9NE is. Lynch is finally boutta get broken off wit those federal reserve notes he deserves.
 
thats cool then, I came here from NJ/NYC for school and I have to hear him all the time and his dumb ass commercials that just scream "STRAAAAANNNNNNGEEEEEE!!!!...... music" That lynch guy does seem better tho
 
Get a pair of Grado SR60s. Best pair of headphones you can get for the price range, look them up on amazon.
 
Seriously, if you use your headphones outside of your home, it's gonna sound CRAPPY as hell because of the open ear design. BUT it's true they really sound great, except if you use them anywhere where there is little sound!
 
i demoed a pair of the nixon headphones that are like the icons and they are really sick stay on your head good sound great pverall awsome headphone

using the 10mm right now. I wasn't sure what to think at first, but I've grown used to them and I really love them. the fit was weird, but it's fine now.
 
i wouldnt waste money on head phones i bought grado 300i, and now im dead broke. But get the sr 60 grado are the best
 
Oh yeah local commercials are the worst man. I understand. Sucks though cuz it seems like it ruined any chances of you liking his music. Couple my homies went and saw his show boutta week ago in napa area said he sounded dope live. Not all rappers sound dope live thass fo sure. Peep this track I like this shit. But yeah check out more of lynch. Dont get nixon headphones, stick to watches and belts n shit.

 
I had the 8mm earbuds and overall i like them, but they're nothing amazing. as someone already mentioned, the cord gives ridiculous feedback to the earbuds when it rubs against clothing. that makes them really suck for running. the sound quality is better than most other earbuds i've owned and they have a lot of bass as well. buy them for car rides or whatever but not for skiing or running.
