Niseko Season Pass Question

Hello all,

I am coming to Niseko, Japan in mid December for about 3 months working and skiing as much as possible.

I have a quick question about seasons passes that hopefully someone will be able to help me with.

An all mountain ski pass that includes all Niseko areas is quite expensive (about $2000) and I am wondering about a few options:

1: purchase a All mountain pass

or

2: Purchase a Grand Hirafu / Hanazono seasons pass ( I assume thats where most of my skiing will be done) and on the days that it dumps and we want to ski the other areas / back bowels to just buy a day pass for those areas.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

You can get what's called an hourly pass. I would do that and keep loading it up. It probably won't use as many as a full season pass would. I don't know how much Hirafu passes are but it would probably be worth it just to keep getting hourly tickets.

Otherwise season passes are very expensive!

The Niseko United season pass is incredibly expensive! If you don't have a job that will fund/subsidise a pass, its a huge expenditure. I second Mitch's suggestion of the hourly pass that you can top up if you're only here for 3 months.

My season pass that covers 5 other resorts in Hokkaido costs less than half the price of Niseko's pass!! (OK, its not Niseko, but it covers Rusutsu and Teine plus 3 others. And Nakayama Touge which opens before and closes after Niseko!)
