Yeah i've heard Japan is having an average season this year

If it makes you feel any better, I travelled from Australia to Canada this year to ski - seems like it wasn't their year either.

I'm sure you'll have a great time, and so will Nips - drink down some Asahi & Sapporo and check out the Onsens.

I beg to differ. We've had nothing but this for three weeks:

Locals are saying it's a below average season. I say it's pretty fucking good.

yeah but where is that? How is the Niigata Perfecture doing for snow?

They're from Furano and Rusutsu. I havn't heard much about how conditions are in other areas at the moment

What part of the island is that? I guess I can look it up..

This is from Joetsu.

"As you all know, we are trying hard to make slopestyle and big air

events, but we don't have much snow on the slope at this moment.

Therefore, we might change the schedule or possible of canceling the

slopestyle event.

Those registered for slopestyle can do a big air (his and hers choice) to 1/4 pipe at the bottom.

I'm here in Niseko, skiing the resort a little, but mostly hitting some pillow zones and shiiiiit. Place is AWESOME!!!!! so much snow. I went night skiing last night at Niseko and I can safely say it was the most fun i've ever had. Shredding blower pow from 5-8:40 is unreal, definitely the place to be.
