So they lost Henrik, Warnick, Owens, and Sig Tveit. Now the only big name they really have is Mik D and hes been out of the game for a while (even though I heard hes coming back). So is this the true end of Ninthward?

They're apparently looking for European distributors, so maybe not.

Although I sent them an email offering to put them in contact with UK distributors, and they outright rejected my help, so I don't know.

who cares 9th should go out of business. there a terrible company that never follows through plus they have some shitty skis.

hate to say it, but this.

They treat their team like shit, and produce a below average product. In my opinion they also are very unprofessional.

i agree the company is not run well at all, and they shafted alot of their athletes, but i still will ride my le compte's as long as the are skiable

You are retarded. Elan makes their skis to ninthwards specifications, they are just a production company. Its like buying a CD from artist and a CD from another artist that are on the same label or "pressed" in the same "factory". They are going to be two completely different things made to each artists "design"

news flash - elans don't ride very well either....how many park skiers to you see using elans? 9th blows, we all know it

I wonder if their crackhead owners can gather up enough money to rebuild their team. Probably not. They're a disgrace to the ski world.

Problem is, they fucked over a lot of their team in pay, so they probably should start looking for something other than money to rebuild.

very in-depth and descriptive argument...i have never skied a pairs of nines but i must say there rep game doesnt look to good.

9th has constantly fucked over riders, reps, shops, and even shop employees countless amounts of time. Campbell doesn't run that company very well and it's easy to see. 9th is pretty much running on fumes right now and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they completely died. Unless there's a major management change in the near future, I highly doubt 9th can do anything to save themselves.

Ninth is dead. Onto Tenthward now

sidenote, I can't wait to sell my ninthward stickers in 40 years as antiques

Yall hating on 9's sayin their skis suck prolly havent ridin them for more than a run or two. If you are a certain type of skier than they are some sick skis. Dats for real.

i can't speak for the quality of their skis

but ninthward seems like a fucking gongshow as a company. i read in another thread that they still owe someone [who is pro but i can't remember] sponsorship money from like 2 years ago. they represent their company like they're white rich 13 year olds

Agreed that teh brand functions in a weird fucking way and hasnt gone anywhere in the past 5 years, but the skis are good. Ive ridden a few pair and i've always loved how they've skied.

I don't care how the company is ran all i know is that i ride my HHP and they make solid durable skis.

skis are the best i've ever skied (on my 4th season with my firstbloods and it's not the last), and the owners are all really down to earth, they just don't cater to the 14 year old's that make up the sport of skiing.

too bad no one else was into the idea of expanding the scene.

haters gonna hate.

I'm finally going to retire my 08/09 le comte's after 300+ park days. After all that, they are only missing 2 inches of edge. I don't judge people based on hearsay, rumors, or gossip, but solely on my own interactions with them. Same goes with ski companies. 9th has been nothing but helpful to me and their skis are solid. I'll continue to ride em as long as they are around.
