Ninthward sidewall?

So this years HHP and le comte have the same dimensions. just different bases and sidewall thickness. Was wondering if this difference of mm makes a huge difference in durability. HHP is 5.5 mm and the le comte is 8.5mm

Industry Standard sidewall thickness is 5.5 mm, this is very durable however Ninthward engineering calls for extra material in order to create the best product possible. Yes extremely durable and will withstand anything..

Also the Le Comte has a beech wood insert for binding retention.

All it is comprised of is abs plastic. Thicker sidewalls = heavier ski, that is insignificantly stronger. It will mostlikely be more resistant to sidewall blowouts from rail impact though/
